Review of Guilford Artistry byLeah Lopez Schmalz

"But it's mixed media fiber artist Sandra Scott who steals the show. Scott's textiles are award-winning masterpieces created from fabric, thread, dye, and stitchery. The Monroe artist contributes exquisite pieces like "Low Tide" with its iridescent fiber flowing off the canvas and onto the wall, "Beachwalk" which features a marshy path leading to the blue open waters beyond."October"s burnt orange pallet with trees in fall/winter transition, and "Bathing Beauty"s lily pads and blooms floating along a silvery sea of water. Her work is a calming tribute to nature-inspired and inspiring."
